By the grace of God, AL-Amaanah Charitable trust’s first priority is aiding in medical requirements. With the inflating prices both for the services as well as the medicines, more and more, the daily bread earners are finding it difficult to afford a reasonable and quality treatment facility. We thus intend to help facilitate the same to the best of our ability. While AL-Amaanah Charitable Trust are strong on following procedures and documentation when it is a matter of medical emergency, our first priority is to facilitate the medical procedures, following the rest of the procedures. Once we receive a medical aid case, our protocols are as follows:
- A medical emergency form AACTMDxxxxxx for initial information record is filled up with the recent passport size photograph of the applicant attached.
- AL-Amaanah representative is sent with funds to action the emergency. The representative also makes necessary payments to ensure the medical procedures are not on hold due to financial deficiency.
- Al-Amaanah representative proceeds by collecting the necessary government documents for the purpose of legal recordings.
- All the relevant government documents are uploaded.
- All these documents are uploaded to generate a unique case ID.
If the medical emergency is not immediate, that is if there is no immediate threat to life, the standard procedures and protocols are applied which are as follows:
- A medical emergency form AACTMDxxxxxx for initial information record is filled with the recent passport size photograph of the applicant attached.
- The verification agent is then sent to the address on the application form to verify and ensure that the specifics and details mentioned in the application are true.
- If the information is found contradictory or incorrect, until the verification is not cleared it is marked orange and placed on ‘hold’. If the information provided is found to be false or fake. The case is marked ‘red’ and rejected.
- Once the needy is identified as genuine, Al-Amaanah representative proceeds by collecting the necessary government documents for the purpose of legal recordings.
- All the collected documents like government identity proof of the recipient, government address proof of the recipient, government identity proof of the guardian, original cost estimation letter and recent passport size photograph are uploaded along with case info and application form.
- All these documents are uploaded to generate a unique case ID.
- Funds are raised for the needed amount based on the estimation letter by reaching out to donors through social media. A broadcast is sent about this case to our generous donors and members along with all the relevant documents and details attached.
- The mode of donations is mostly through electronic banking such as NEFT, RTGS or cash deposits and ilk.
- Once the desired amount mentioned by the Hospital - estimation letter is collected we acknowledge the same to our donors and issue another broadcast informing that the collection for this medical emergency case number xxx has been completed.
- Finally the funds raised as per need is paid. All our payments are issued in cheque of our official trust account in the name of the medical organization only.
- The case is now closed and archived in our database.
- We then disclose these payment receipt and attached confirmation documents to our donors so as to show them that the desired aid has been delivered and the case is subject to being closed.
Disclaimer : Please note that the number of cases we take for various aids is dependent upon the
funds we have at that time and place. We fully understand that we have a responsibility towards
those who help us and towards those who are helped by us and thus our priority will always be given
to our existing aid applicants whom we help every month and this cannot be compromised. Thereby
the decision to take new cases every month is subject to the availability of the funds .
